First and foremost, it is our mission to make iddie a journal filled with quality fiction and poetry. iddie began as an idea to create a home for new voices and new visions. We want to fill our pages with writing that challenges our minds and those of our readers, writing that promotes thought and discussion.
iddie also welcomes new writers. While we accept work from both new and established writers, part of iddie’s mission is to promote emerging voices in fiction and poetry. This is not to say that our standards are not high. We will be accepting only the best poetry and prose that comes across our desk. Our goal is to create a quality journal, filled with some of the best new writing out there.
In addition to fiction and poetry, we are now accepting creative non-fiction submissions. As iddie continues to grow, we will broaden our scope to include various other forms of writing and art. And as the journal and our readership grow, our goal is to launch a print journal of the same high quality as our online version.
